Eligibility

The Stacia Sweater Field Test (“Field Test”) is open to all people living in the 50 United States and District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years old at time of participation. Void outside the USA, in Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and other United States territories and possessions. The Stacia Sweater Field Test is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

Sponsorship

The Stacia Sweater Field Test is sponsored by Stacia, Inc (“Stacia”.) Stacia will conduct the Stacia Sweater Field Test substantially as described in these Official Rules.

Entry Period

Entry for the Field Test is ongoing. Stacia reserves the right to open and close entry to new participants at any time.

How To Enter

Visit the Field Test registration page located on Stacia’s website to apply. After signing up, Stacia will send an application via email to be filled out. If your application is approved, you will receive an email and directed to order a Stacia sweater. You will be charged the full price of the Stacia sweater in dollars ($USD). Shipping is free for participants with a shipping code provided at checkout. Stacia reserves the right to change the price of the Stacia sweater and shipping options at any time for new participants. When ordering a Stacia sweater, you will be asked to provide basic contact information, including your name, street address, phone number, and email address.

NOTE: You must complete all required fields of the entry form with information that is valid on the date of the drawing to be eligible.

Limitations On Entries

LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. No third party entry is permitted. Any person who attempts or otherwise encourages the entry of multiple or false contact information under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter or encourage multiple or false entries, as determined by Stacia, will be disqualified. Use of robotic entry devices is strictly prohibited.

Starting The Field Test

Completion of the online Agreement form is required before the Participant orders their sweater. The Field Test begins as soon as the participant receives their sweater.

PARTICIPANTS HAVE 30 (THIRTY) DAYS TO COMPLETE THE REQUIRED TASKS IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A 100% FULL REFUND OF THEIR ORDER DEPOSIT.

Completion of the Tasks is further defined in the section below.

Completing The Field Test

Starting the Field Test is defined in the section above. To complete the Field Test ALL of the below requirements must be met.

Create a short unboxing video upon receiving your Stacia sweater.
Join our Facebook Group. Before starting, post why you're participating in the Field Test and why you want to make the switch to sustainable fashion.
At the end of the Field Test reflect on your post and your experience wearing the sweater in everyday life.
Wear a Stacia 3D knit sweater and style it your own way in 3 different looks.
Post 5 photos or videos to our Facebook Group of each look.
Write a review/short blog post in our Facebook Group to document your slow fashion switch.
Complete the Field Test within 30 (THIRTY) days of receiving the sweater.
Returns aren't accepted after taking the Field Test, so only take the Field Test if you plan to keep your sweater for years.

RECEIVING THE SWEATER IS INDICATED BY STACIA DELIVERY TRACKING THROUGH 3RD PARTY SHIPPING CARRIERS SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, USPS, UPS, AND FEDEX.

DAY 1 (ONE) OF RECEIVING THE SWEATER STARTS ON THE SAME DAY THE STACIA SWEATER IS CONFIRMED BY THE CARRIER AS DELIVERED.

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER WITH OR VANDALIZE ANY STACIA OWNED WEBSITE OR MOBILE APPLICATION OR RELATED SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE, THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE INTERFERE WITH OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE FIELD TEST, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND OC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Field Test Refunds

After meeting ALL of the requirements to complete the Field Test as stated in the section, Stacia will issue a 100% full refund of 1 (ONE) Stacia sweater at the purchase price stated in the order confirmation directly related to the Stacia Sweater Field Test.

Once you complete the Field Test, Stacia will send you an email to notify you that we have refunded the item. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 (SEVEN) days.

General Terms

By entering the Stacia Sweater Field Test, you promise to abide by the Official Rules and decisions of Stacia, which will be final and binding in all respects. Stacia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, disqualify or withdraw any entry at any time. Stacia will not be responsible for any injury, damage or loss of any kind arising out of your participation in the Field Test.

Nothing contained in this Agreement will be construed to create the relationship of employer and employee, principal and agent, partnership or joint venture, or any other fiduciary relationship. The participant may not act as agent for, or on behalf of Stacia, or to represent or bind Stacia, Inc. in any manner.

Both parties represent that they are fully authorized and empowered to enter into this Agreement, and that the performance of the obligations under this Agreement will not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third-party, or violate any Agreement between the parties and any other person, firm or organization or any law or governmental regulation.

YOU AGREE TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS STACIA, INC., ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS AND ASSIGNS FROM AND AGAINST ANY OR ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, INJURIES, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE CHALLENGE.

Intellectual Property Rights

Retained Rights. Each party will retain all right, title, and interest in and to its own Pre-Existing Intellectual Property irrespective of any disclosure of such Pre-Existing Intellectual Property to the other party, subject to any licenses granted herein.

Participants grants Stacia a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual and irrevocable license to any work done under the Field Test, this include use of participant’s submitted photos, videos, and written review to be used on Stacia’s social media platforms, newsletters, blog posts, and on shopstacia.com.

Pre-Existing Intellectual Property, to the extent such Pre-Existing Intellectual Property is incorporated into any Deliverable, with the license including the right to make, have made, sell, use, reproduce, modify, adapt, display, distribute, make other versions of and disclose the property and to sublicense others to do these things.

The participant represents, warrants and covenants that the participant has complied and shall continue to comply with all third party licenses (including all open source licenses). The participant shall indemnify Stacia against any losses and liability incurred by Stacia due to failure of the participant to meet any of the requirements in any of the third party licenses.

Stacia grants the participant, a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable, royalty free, worldwide license to display the deliverables on a platform personally controlled, in whole or in part, by the participant. Stacia may revoke this license at any time by requesting the removal of the deliverables displayed by the participant. Upon such request, the participant shall remove the deliverables from the platform, and provide written notification of such removal.
